Royal Rum: A Celebration of Craft and Heritage
Blind Cut Bourbon by Weiss Distillery is a bold, smooth and deep amber bourbon crafted with a blend of locally grown corn, rye and malted barley. The grain used is sourced from the small family farms of North Carolina, and the whiskey is aged in handcrafted new American white oak barrels at a low proof to preserve the complexity of the distillate.
This bourbon is Bottled-in-Bond, meaning it was distilled and bottled by the same distiller, in the same distilling season, and aged for at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse, all under the highest standards of quality control. This designation is the highest mark of quality the U.S. Government will give a spirit, and is the mark of excellence that Weiss distillery strives for in every bottle they produce.
The whiskey is matured using a unique process that avoids the labor intensive process of rotating barrels, and instead, combines the best quality barrels from different positions within the warehouse. This process allows the bourbon to develop an extremely balanced and rich flavor that is both sweet and savory. This bourbon is great enjoyed neat, on the rocks, and mixes well in classic Bourbon cocktails. Visit: The distillery offers free tours and tastings Monday – Saturday.…
